Ruby Stanmyer, M.E.M.
Utility Advisor
Ruby Stanmyer, M.E.M., is a Utility Advisor at Moonshot Missions. Prior to joining Moonshot, she spent over five years at the Environmental Protection Agency in Philadelphia, where she served as the Public Water System Supervision program manager for West Virginia and led the region’s PFAS and Emerging Contaminants Water Technical Assistance programs. She also managed more than $25 million in federal grant funding.
Earlier in her career, Ruby worked in environmental education with the Peace Corps, National Park Service, and community monitoring programs. She also spent many summers from a very early age, volunteering at the Clearwater Festival in New York’s Hudson Valley.
Ruby holds a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment, with a focus on water policy and utility finance, and a B.S. in Environmental Science from Dickinson College.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, rock climbing, exploring local parks, and spending time with her husband and two cats.
